What We Do

Our Services

IDWP provides clean and safe drinking water infrastructure to rural communities in Liberia and across Africa.

Our Approach

Water Infrastructure That Works

Our services at IDWP include drilling wells and building reservoirs throughout rural Liberia and many parts of Africa to provide clean and safe drinking water to all dwellers.

Our services are based on the philosophy that clean and safe water can help prevent diseases. Due to the shortage of electricity in most parts of Liberia, our goal is to establish a water system that is operated manually — but effectively, efficiently, and at low cost.

Please join us in supporting our cause and projects in Liberia. We also intend to extend our projects to other African nations after becoming fully operational in Liberia.

Devices & Services

How We Deliver Clean Water

Each service is designed specifically for rural African communities, maximizing impact with minimal ongoing cost.

🪣

Well Drilling

We drill safe, deep wells in rural Liberia, replacing dangerous, shallow wells that are exposed to surface-water contamination, sewage runoff, and disease. Our wells meet international safety standards.

🏗️

Reservoir Construction

We build water reservoirs that collect and store treated water. This ensures communities have consistent access to clean water year-round, regardless of seasonal changes or dry spells.

🎡

Merry-Go-Round Pumps

We install merry-go-round devices that are used to manually pump water from wells while rural children play — a proven, innovative solution that generates clean water through play.

🚰

Easy Accessibility

All water points are installed in close proximity to communities, eliminating the need for residents — often women and children — to walk miles to access water.

🌍

Expansion to Africa

While our primary focus is Liberia, we intend to extend our projects to other African nations once fully operational, replicating the success of similar projects in South Africa.

🏥

Disease Prevention

By replacing contaminated water sources with safe alternatives, IDWP directly contributes to reducing waterborne diseases that devastate rural communities in Liberia.
